• Drive sales cycle from pipeline generation to close • Employ value-oriented sales methodology for customer data • Build growth and adoption of Segment in the UK & Ireland • Own cross functional teams from Pre-Sales to Customer Success • Drive pipeline generation for expansion opportunities • Lead presentations of Segment’s product to various audiences • Provide accurate forecasts on sales and revenue performance • Coordinate internal teams to navigate complex sales cycles • Work closely with Twilio for deployments of use cases
• 3+ years relevant experience in sales or sales development, including 2 years of closing experience • Experience in a pipeline generation motion and a weekly metrics-based approach that measures key activity and pipeline adds • Maintain a proven record of consistently exceeding quotas • SaaS based sales experience • Value based sales methodology in line with Force Management and MEDDPICC • Strong understanding of the Martech industry and the role of data in driving business decisions • Proficient in modern sales processes/methodologies • Excellent presence to influence and sell at all levels • Strong analytical skills with understanding of forecasting & pipeline management • Fluent in German
