• UGE develops, owns, and operates community and commercial solar and energy storage projects • Lead effort to grow behind-the-meter solar and storage pipeline • Develop and execute strategy for originating, qualifying, and closing projects • Meet prospective customers to identify and secure project opportunities • Negotiate commercial terms and legal agreements with customers • Build a lead generation engine to source and qualify leads for projects • Build and nurture relationships with referral agents and channel partners
• Substantial experience in behind-the-meter sales or business development • Demonstrated business acumen, including relationship building and negotiating • Ability to analyze information, interpret data, and solve practical problems • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize workload • Self-starter who is driven to consistently meet and exceed targets
