• Systems Administration and Server Management: Proficiency in managing Windows and Linux servers, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. • Security Protocols and Compliance: Strong understanding of system security best practices, firewall management, antivirus, and access controls. • Virtualization and Cloud Services Knowledge: Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (AWS, Azure) for efficient resource management. • Backup and Disaster Recovery: Familiarity with backup tools and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data protection and continuity. • Problem Solving and Technical Support: Excellent troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving system issues quickly and effectively. • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent experience in systems administration may be considered. • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, VMware Certified Professional) are advantageous. • 3+ years of experience in systems administration or IT infrastructure, with a proven track record of maintaining and optimizing server environments. • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds) for tracking system health and performance. • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automating system tasks is beneficial.
