📋 Description
• Director of Major Gifts role involves identifying, cultivating, and soliciting donors • Key member of development team responsible for securing significant contributions • Implement a donor solicitation strategy for identified major gift prospects • Create personalized communication plans for donor engagement • Assist in planning donor engagement opportunities to strengthen relationships
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred • Minimum of 10 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising • At least 7 years of frontline fundraising experience • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Proficient in donor database systems and fundraising software (e.g., Salesforce) • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); SharePoint preferred • Passion for UpGlo’s mission is essential
