Description

• Overview: • Director of Battery Storage will oversee all aspects of the company’s power distribution, ensuring effective design, construction, and management of power services. • This role is responsible for driving the execution of large-scale power distribution and substation construction projects, managing engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. • This remote role is ideally suited for candidates residing in Florida or the southern states, as occasional travel to project sites will be necessary.

Requirements

• Direct the Power division, ensuring alignment of engineering and construction teams with company goals for optimal project delivery. • Oversee the planning, design, and execution of all power projects, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards. • Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality across BSS projects, meeting or exceeding industry standards and leveraging emerging battery technologies. • Collaborate with senior management to define division objectives, aligning them with the company’s growth and service goals. • Provide technical direction in engineering design, construction practices, and maintenance standards specifically for BSS, advocating for best practices and innovative solutions. • Establish and monitor performance metrics, implementing process improvements for enhanced project delivery. • Provide high-level technical guidance for engineering design, construction practices, and maintenance standards in power distribution and substations. • Evaluate emerging technologies in power distribution and advise on their integration to improve efficiency, sustainability, and reliability. • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). • Experience in power distribution, substation construction, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. • Proven experience managing large-scale construction and engineering projects, preferably in the power services sector. • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution networks, and substation engineering.
