β€’ The Sales Engineer is responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within the assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products or services. β€’ Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts. β€’ Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars. β€’ Promote the value of Videojet coding, marking and imaging products and services to the customers within the specified geographic territory. β€’ Understand Videojet's value proposition and ability to access decision makers, assess their needs and provide winning value propositions. β€’ Develop and share customer and market trends and competitive intelligence with counterparts to promote increased market knowledge and capitalize on potential opportunities to increase revenue and/or profitability. β€’ Build strong, long-term customer relationships, based on value, which will help contribute to Videojet's continued industry leadership position and strong financial performance.

Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's Degree Required, preferably in a Technical or Business field β€’ 3 - 6 years of experience with a proven track record of capital equipment sales. β€’ Direct sales experience in the ink jet product coding industry or Sales of packaging line related equipment would be an asset. β€’ Sufficient technical ability to understand the key operating principles of a wide array of various printing or identification technologies and the skills to propose multi-product integrated solutions that address customer specific needs β€’ Strong oral and written communication skills β€’ Ability to travel 40% of the time β€’ Experience with SFDC/CPQ and Strategic Selling skills would be a plus
