📋 Description
• Villa is a next-generation homebuilding platform focused on building much-needed housing. • The Director of Land Acquisitions will develop and implement the company’s acquisition strategy. • Responsibilities include land acquisition strategies, sourcing, site selection, negotiations, financial analysis, due diligence, and market analysis. • The role requires mentoring junior staff and collaborating with other departments for successful project execution.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related field; MBA is preferred. • Proven experience in real estate acquisitions with at least 7 years of experience actively underwriting real estate acquisitions, preferably focused on land acquisitions for residential development. • Strong understanding of the residential real estate market, real estate capital markets, property development and construction industry. • Working knowledge of zoning and land use practices, development standards, and utility solutions. • Familiarity and direct experience with debt finance for real estate and real estate transactions. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications with advanced skills in Excel. • Ability to read and interpret lot plans, plat plans, and basic building plans. • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities; must be detail-oriented and a problem-solver able to deal with complex situations. • Must have initiative and be able to achieve objectives with minimal supervision. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
