• Lead Account Executive, Visa Midwest Sales, responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing sales strategies for Midwest Financial Institutions. • Responsible for selling issuer payment processing services into financial institutions and negotiating contractual arrangements. • Responsible for developing account strategies to increase revenues from existing accounts and win new accounts. • Ensure implementation of annual goals and plans. • Develop and execute customized account plans to increase sales volume and market share within the financial institution sectors. • Create new sales and revenue generating opportunities as appropriate. • Expand existing relationships/partnerships through the selling of issuer payment processing services. • Utilize a consultative sales approach that ensures that the client’s business objectives are met and that the performance metrics of their payment portfolios are maximized. • Prepare proposals and negotiate contractual relationships with financial institutions for accepting and deploying issuer processing services. • Continuously review client landscape and recommend, develop, and implement new and creative approaches to growing the Visa business. • Assist marketing and product development in launching new products or expanding the penetration of existing products within current and new accounts. • Contribute to the development of functional strategy.
• 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD • Extensive industry expertise, knowledge of financial controls and legal impacts of contract management. • 10-12 or more of years business experience with related sales and client management experience. • Proven track record of successful sales and relationship management with proven ability to interact with C level executives within client organizations. • Proven ability to manage & grow internal and external resources and cross functional relationships. • Proven ability negotiating business agreements and aptitude to develop new business partnerships. • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with high level of success/achievement. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Ability to travel up to 30%.
