• Manage payroll and benefits administration for a roughly 250-person US employee population and a roughly 30-person international employee population • Manage payroll processing in ADP, including semi-monthly multi-state/multi-entity payroll processing, monthly international payroll processing, time off maintenance and tracking, processing timesheets, managing 401(k) remittances, and maintaining payroll reports and spreadsheets accurately and securely • Develop and maintain payroll processes, procedures and documentation • Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to payroll and benefits, including tax-related items. • Complete new state registrations and respond promptly to local and state notices. Complete key payroll projects such as W2 distribution • Support the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs (group health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement, etc.). Participate in annual benefits projects, including open enrollment, annual 401k NDT testing and audit support, worker’s compensation renewals and updates • Conduct audits of payroll, benefits, and other HR programs. Resolve any payroll or benefits discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner • Coordinate within the People Operations team to ensure accurate and timely processing of new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations. Support overall HRIS data entry and maintenance • Provide excellent employee service, including answering employee requests and questions about payroll and benefits. Ensure employee changes to withholdings, benefits and/or direct deposits are timely and accurate • Review payroll- and benefit-related invoices

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience processing multi-state payroll. International payroll experience (e.g. UK) is a plus, but not a requirement • Strong knowledge of payroll practices, tax laws, and regulations • Proficiency in payroll software (ADP and/or Workday preferred, but not required) and MS Office, especially Excel • Experience implementing new payroll systems. Workday implementation experience is a plus, but not a requirement • Strong analytical capabilities • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion • Bachelor’s degree
