Description

• Design, architect, implement, and optimize geodata infrastructure for AI-driven analytics. • Develop fault-tolerant data pipelines processing petabyte-scale geospatial data. • Leverage Databricks or Snowflake for big data processing and analytics. • Deploy and manage data infrastructure using Kubernetes or Coiled. • Spearhead adoption of cloud-native technologies and serverless architectures. • Implement ETL processes with AI-assisted data cleansing and real-time data synchronization. • Establish a comprehensive observability stack for performance analysis.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of architecting and scaling data platforms in cloud environments. • Demonstrable experience leading high-impact data initiatives in AI-driven organizations. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred. • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Kubernetes, Cloud platform certifications) are highly valued. • Proficiency in Databricks or Snowflake, including expertise in optimizing jobs, implementing features for reliable data lakes, and designing efficient ETL pipelines. • Strong experience with Kubernetes or Coiled, including deploying and managing data-intensive applications in distributed environments. • Mastery of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) with a focus on data-centric services and cloud-native architectures, and high-performance computing framework. • Advanced proficiency in Python, including experience in high-performance computing frameworks such as Dask or PySpark. • Deep expertise in both SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases, with a strong understanding of query optimization and database internals. • Proficiency in data modeling, distributed systems design, and algorithmic optimization. • Working knowledge of geospatial databases is highly valued (e.g. PostGIS).
