• Warby Parker is looking for a Senior Director of Managed Vision Care (MVC) to grow our managed vision care business and support continuous improvement to our process and operations. • This role will be responsible for our MVC business and serve as the subject matter expert within the organization to develop best practices for serving customers with vision benefits. • You’ll establish strategy and priorities, manage insurance financial performance, serve as senior point of contact for existing and new MVC partners, and collaborate with cross-functional partners across all aspects of our business to ensure we deliver an amazing customer experience and achieve our performance goals. • In this role, you’ll oversee our cross-functional insurance team and drive strategy to expand and improve our MVC business. • Establish and manage payor relationships, leading contract negotiations and business reviews. • Develop a strategy to continue expanding our insurance business through existing and new payor relationships (and, as applicable, directly with employers). • Manage plan set-up, driven by both internal and external changes in product offering. • Drive process improvements to achieve better customer experiences and financial results by supporting a cross-functional team to prioritize and execute on best practices. • Partner with our Retail and Customer Experience teams to create trainings and operating procedures that support our insurance customers. • Establish internal controls, performance standards, and KPIs for the core insurance operations. • Partner with the Finance and Strategy teams to develop, analyze, and trend insurance financial reports for management and executive-level officers.
• Backed by 11+ years of experience in vision insurance or health insurance • An inspiring leader that has proven to drive collaboration and results in cross-functional projects and initiatives • A proactive, inquisitive self-starter who's eager to learn • Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)
