• A bit about us: WeatherBug, a division of GroundTruth, empowers people to plan their day thanks to hyperlocal weather forecasts. • You are a product expert with 14+ years of product management and strategy experience. • This role will report to the President & General Manager of WeatherBug. • You will: Define and communicate the organization’s product and design vision aligned with strategic goals. • Lead and manage the product and design teams, overseeing the end-to-end product lifecycle. • Engage with clients and partners to identify opportunities for new capabilities and products, and conduct market analysis to refine product strategy using trends and customer insights. • Drive the go-to-market strategy for new product features and partnerships in collaboration with the marketing team. • Mentor product and design teams, promoting a collaborative, high-performance culture,.
• Experience: 10+ years in product management and design, and 4-5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably within a software or tech environment, with a strong background in managing large-scale consumer mobile products and growing audiences. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred). • Skills: Strong expertise in product strategy, UX/UI design principles, and agile and project management methodologies. • Leadership: Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams, scaling product and design teams, and coaching direct reports for professional development and advancement. • Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and organizational levels. • Analytical: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, utilizing a data-driven approach to product development and user experience. • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of customer insights, competitive analysis, and market dynamics, with experience in successfully relaunching large consumer products through redesigns.
