📋 Description

• Key role within Pre-Construction team as an Electrical Designer. • Responsible for bringing an estimate from conceptual design to a finished project that is construction ready. • Work with Estimators, Pre-Construction Managers, Drafters, and Project Managers throughout the design phase. • Verify vendor quotes and provide submittal packages. • Participate in customer/client design review meetings and presentations. • Assist in leading/managing engineering needs to ensure final product matches the "KE-Way" design. • Complete conceptual engineering and design including sizing conduit/cable to serve electrical equipment. • Comprehend MCC BOM’s and quotes for accuracy. • Build conduit cable schedules for Motors Controls and instrumentation devices. • Knowledge of motor control devices, Medium Voltage Distribution systems, and Special systems. • Act as a bridge from estimating to operations or Concept to reality. • Additional duties as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with BlueBeam, Revit, AutoCAD, Smartsheets, and Procore. • Knowledge of electrical and/or automation construction practices or industrial electrical work. • Knowledge of the NEC. • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management, staff, and customers using various methods including Microsoft Teams, email, text, or phone calls. • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills. • Manage project files, drawings, documents & records in the project system. • Journeyman Electricians License, a degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related, or equivalent combination of field experience/education. • Excellent time management and project tasking skills. • Capable of being flexible to meet project deadlines. • Self-motivated and flexible to accommodate changes in KE business strategies. • Ability to problem solve and take accountability for decisions on projects. • Possess and maintain a valid driving license. • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. • Ability to have a team-first mentality. • Ability to teach and mentor other members of the group.
