📋 Description

• Directs all aspects of a service area within an assigned vertical line of business. • Provides innovative and cost-effective environmental solutions to assigned clients. • Responsible for management of profit and loss, budgeting, and operations. • Oversees and manages personnel and business development. • Ensures the development of a safety conscious organization. • Manages financial and operating performance of assigned customer sites. • Responsible for procedural development and compliance with environmental health and safety and ISO program activities. • Accountable for the education and development of project managers and operating teams. • Establishes relationships with local WM Market Areas and Districts to maintain core services and excellent customer service. • Travel required to operating sites up to 75%.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Environmental Sciences, Civil Engineering, Business or related field, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience. • Seven (7) years of relevant work experience in project/business work within the environmental or industrial services industry. • RCRA and DOT regulatory compliance experience required • OSHA 30-Hour HAZWOPER Certification required • TWIC Card or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire • Valid Driver's License • An entrepreneurial skill set is highly valued with the ability to creatively achieve stretch goals and provide new services and value to existing customers. • Profit and loss (budgeting) • Project management • Customer service and vendor management • Management and team building skills • Creative problem solving and innovative thinker • Effective and concise communication • Adept decision making • Strategic thinking, strong leadership and relationship building skills • Strong business acumen and financial knowledge • Self-motivated and directed with a keen sense of urgency to deliver results • Customer-focused
