β€’ Directs all aspects of a service area within an assigned vertical line of business. β€’ Provides innovative and cost-effective environmental solutions to assigned clients. β€’ Responsible for management of profit and loss, budgeting, and operations. β€’ Oversees and manages personnel and business development. β€’ Ensures the development of a safety conscious organization. β€’ Manages financial and operating performance of assigned customer sites. β€’ Responsible for procedural development and compliance with environmental health and safety and ISO program activities. β€’ Accountable for the education and development of project managers and operating teams. β€’ Establishes relationships with local WM Market Areas and Districts to maintain core services and excellent customer service. β€’ Travel required to operating sites up to 75%.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Environmental Sciences, Civil Engineering, Business or related field, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience. β€’ Seven (7) years of relevant work experience in project/business work within the environmental or industrial services industry. β€’ RCRA and DOT regulatory compliance experience required β€’ OSHA 30-Hour HAZWOPER Certification required β€’ TWIC Card or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire β€’ Valid Driver's License β€’ An entrepreneurial skill set is highly valued with the ability to creatively achieve stretch goals and provide new services and value to existing customers. β€’ Profit and loss (budgeting) β€’ Project management β€’ Customer service and vendor management β€’ Management and team building skills β€’ Creative problem solving and innovative thinker β€’ Effective and concise communication β€’ Adept decision making β€’ Strategic thinking, strong leadership and relationship building skills β€’ Strong business acumen and financial knowledge β€’ Self-motivated and directed with a keen sense of urgency to deliver results β€’ Customer-focused
