Description

• Evaluate and review applications for insurance coverage and assess associated risks • Ensure profitability and growth by reviewing new business, inspections, and renewals • Assist underwriters with reviewing submissions, endorsements, inspections, claims, and renewals • Identify fundamental underwriting risk issues • Appropriately escalate tasks outside of level of authority • Assist in general handling of correspondence and other file-related information • Data verification and manual process improvement • Process policy changes or updates, both customer & non-customer-facing • Direct Operations agents toward resources • Additional tasks depending on company procedure updates and new product launches.

Requirements

• At least 1-year prior insurance experience • Superior customer service and interpersonal skills • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers in an efficient, empathetic, and respectful manner • Driven to Improve performance and efficiency • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Has a high understanding of how customer behavior impacts the propensity for loss • Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with limited structure • The ability to context switch seamlessly between tasks is a priority, as the team needs to dictate • Proficient in Google Suite or similar tools and capable of navigating multiple tools and windows at the same time
