Description

• Evaluate existing architectural systems and propose an architecture roadmap to improve performance, scalability, and migration to the cloud • Design and implement scalable, secure cloud infrastructure solutions • Work closely with engineering teams to integrate old systems into cloud applications with minimal downtime • Develop and maintain a phased migration plan to transition legacy systems without impacting ongoing operations • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring compliance with security regulations • Document all architecture processes and migration steps • Provide training and support to other team members on cloud technologies and best practices • Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose adaptations to keep our systems at the forefront of innovation • Be hands-on if needed to work with developers and fix the code • Analyze production incidents to find the most efficient way to address current architecture issues

Requirements

• 7+ years in development & software engineering • Proven experience as a Software Architect with a strong portfolio of successful cloud migrations • Proficient understanding of SDLC & Agile processes • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Java, Spring and Struts frameworks, Hibernate, and SQL/NoSQL databases, .NET, React, Angular • Deep understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their application in enterprise environments • Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible and Terraform • Experience with containerized environments, e.g., Docker • Technical proficiency in the scaling, security, and performance of enterprise applications • Experience with the creation of technical specifications or architecture visions covering quality attributes, diagrams, associated risks, technical, and system requirements • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
