Description

• Collaborate with 3Mers to provide PPE solutions for US Federal Government. • Develop relationships with Federal Government agencies and stakeholders. • Create strategic initiatives to achieve sales goals and identify customer opportunities. • Maintain expertise on 3M Peltor and Scott products. • Provide training and support for products sold.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) • Three (3) years of honorable service in a private, public, government or military environment • Current, valid Driver’s License • Accessibility to US military bases and Federal Agency offices. • Experience working in or selling to Federal Government agencies • Prior Key Account and/or Business Development experience • Experience with radios/communication technology and/or Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) respiratory equipment • Experience with 3M Personal Safety Division products – primarily 3M Peltor and 3M Scott branded solutions • Exceptional communication, organization, negotiation and presentation skills required to communicate with senior leadership and decision makers at all levels • Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment to effectively work through and manage change/ambiguity, with an appropriate sense of urgency • Experience working with cross functional project teams • Business and financial acumen • Demonstrates confidence, and optimism; is collaborative; contributes to a positive work environment • Dedication to independent ongoing learning required to maintain product knowledge and application within the market space
