• Responsible for working through prospecting, proposal, contract, installation, and on-going service. • Meet or exceed all assigned sales objectives. • Complete regular sales forecasting with accuracy. • Attend ongoing sales & certification training. • Prospecting new business and partnering with the sales development representative (SDR) to build out qualified leads. • Develop a strong understanding of key differentiator, internal / external systems, sales methodologies and processes. • Close deals; involved with all aspects of deals including price and term negotiations. • Management of the entire sales cycle (drive revenue within a specific region). • Responsible for selling the company’s products or services to new accounts with 100-499 total employees. • Have thorough knowledge of 8x8's products/services. • Identifies customer needs and determines optimal company products & services to effectively address customer's needs. • Develops account specific plans to optimize sales through successful execution of account strategy. • Identifies and resolves customer issues/problems by providing appropriate resources and/or materials to address problem/issue. • Updates customer information in company systems. • Responsible for meeting/exceeding assigned revenue targets.
• 5+ years successful sales experience selling SaaS/UCaaS/CCaaS/VoiP products to customers with 100-499 employees • Closes deals of most complexity involving full suite of products • Ability to discuss in depth issues with customers and effectively address their customer’s needs • Proven success in selling full suite of products • Works on problems of complex scope applying consultative analysis of the customer situation • Proactively leverages other sales resources and channel partners to collaborate on many selling opportunities • Applies a deep knowledge of the industry / vertical space they serve • May play role as player/coach to other AEs with less experience
