Description

• Help identify opportunities for AI solutions to improve AbbVie’s clinical and development performance. • Act as a key member of the CDO Capabilities Leadership Team. • Collaborate with scientists, clinicians, study teams, data scientists, and AI specialists. • Manage resource allocation, project budgets, and deliverables to ensure substantial ROI and impactful outcomes. • Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies and methodologies to inform strategic decision-making. • Lead, mentor, and develop direct reports to foster a high-performing team environment.

Requirements

• Advanced degree with 12+ years of experience in clinical development, data analytics, and AI applications. • Proven track record of leading successful AI projects in a clinical or biomedical domain. • Deep understanding of clinical trial processes and challenges, with the ability to translate these into AI solutions. • Strong background in AI, machine learning, and data science, with practical experience applying these in clinical settings. • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging cross-functional teams. • Familiarity with regulatory environments and compliance requirements related to AI in clinical trials. • Experience managing projects with complex, multidisciplinary teams and budgets. • Demonstrated ability to innovate and drive change in a large, matrixed organization. • Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and developing direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
