📋 Description

• The Business Development Manager is a key driver of AbleNet's growth and success, responsible for achieving strategic goals by fostering trust and engaging with high-potential leads. • This role focuses on educating professionals about AbleNet’s Medical Funding Service and the QuickTalker Freestyle Speech Device. • The manager provides guidance on how AbleNet’s products and services can enhance students' communication capabilities and facilitates connections between SLPs and other professionals for referrals, creating a robust network to support student needs. • This outreach includes contacting SLPs in clinics, hospitals, private practices, and school districts through various channels such as virtual meetings, telephone, email, and SMS. • They work closely with our global sales team, composed of dynamic business leaders who are goal-oriented, compassionate, empathic, curious, highly motivated, and exceptionally organized self-starters. • Ensure CRM tools and AbleNet's sales journey methodologies are leveraged to process and track opportunities, and regularly meet or exceed individual quarterly, monthly, and weekly targets for BD KPIs, including outbound activity, opportunities generated, and closed business.

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with individuals using AAC in clinical and/or school settings; direct experience with AbleNet's funding service for speech devices preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), CRM software (SalesForce, HubSpot), and virtual platforms like Zoom; general computer skills and software experience preferred. • Highly organized, self-starter, motivated, goal-oriented, passionate, confident, resilient, energetic, with a strong work ethic, compassionate, and empathetic. • Demonstrates excellence in presentation skills with strategic messaging; strong verbal skills with consultative professional business acumen; proficient in pipeline development and management.
