Description

• Handles day-to-day HR operations and administration • Oversee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and employee communications • Manage 401(k) programs, ensuring compliance with state-specific labor laws • Administer and track leaves of absence ensuring compliance with applicable laws • Manage workers’ compensation claims and ensure timely reporting • Process employee status changes in payroll and HR systems • Maintain accurate employee records and data in HRIS platforms • Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws • Support compliance audits related to benefits, workers’ compensation, payroll, and HR documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of HR generalist experience, including multi-state responsibilities • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) • Strong knowledge of California employment laws and regulations or other complex states • Proficiency in HRIS platforms, particularly BambooHR, and benefits platforms like Ease/Navigator • Experience with workers’ compensation administration, compliance, and audits • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) • Familiarity with updating pages and lists in Sharepoint
