Description
• The Accountant's responsibilities include A/P, A/R, payroll and month-end closing processes • Comfortable communicating with clients, both on the phone and webcam • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of daily transactions • Posting of journal entries to balance sheet and income statement • Update balance sheet accounts, including weekly and monthly reconciliations • Process client payroll with 3rd party vendor • Review and process monthly and/or quarterly sales and use tax • Reconcile quarterly payroll filings with the general ledger • Review and manage month end close process • Lead client calls to provide high emphasis on customer service
Requirements
• 3+ years performing full charge bookkeeping • 2+ years using QuickBooks and/or NetSuite Software • Motivated self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude • Demonstrates GRIT in overcoming obstacles • Expresses Gratitude and appreciation for team members • Demonstrates Resilience, flexibility, and determination • Unquestionable commitment to upholding the highest standards of Integrity • Proven ability to contribute effectively to Team objectives • Interest in 3rd party applications • Strong problem-solving skills • Working knowledge of prepaids, accruals and inventory • Exceptional attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communications skills • Strong work ethic • Must be decisive and work well under pressure • Confident in one’s abilities
