• The Business Development Manager position is field based, requiring excellent face-to-face, telephone, and writing skills. • The territory consists primarily of law firms with over 50 attorneys. • The successful BDM draws on their high level of initiative and ability to prospect effectively and apply strong business acumen to conduct a thorough needs analysis within their accounts while developing relationships with senior leaders within each firm. • The successful BDM develops trust by demonstrating their credibility with all account stakeholders through knowledge of Aderant’s products and services.
• Bachelor's degree or higher ideally with a focus in Business, Finance, Marketing, Sales. • 5+ years of experience selling to C-levels or to business owners (selling both on-premise and SaaS applications). • Experience selling ERP solutions preferred. • Legal and/or Finance industry experienced preferred. • Proven sales quota attainment track record. • Proven new business development skills. • Excellent forecasting skills. • Outstanding presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation skills. • Proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, MS Teams, Zoom, and Salesforce. • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.
