• Position Overview: • As the Office Director for the Office of Health Technology 3 (OHT3) within the CDRH’s Office of Product Evaluation and Research (OPEQ), you will assure patients have access to high quality, safe and effective products throughout the total product lifecycle (TPLC) review of reproductive, gastro-renal, urological and general hospital devices. • This Office is also responsible for the CDRH Human Factors program which focuses on the interactions between people and devices. • The Office Director will oversee the work from all three divisions within OHT3 and will directly supervise several OHT3 managers including Deputy Office Directors and Division Directors. • This position reports to the Office Director, Immediate Office, OPEQ.

Requirements

• MD or PhD; however, a Master’s or Bachelor's with substantial relevant experience will also be considered • Experience leading muti-tiered organizations and/or large cross-cutting projects • Medical device and regulatory experience • Experience collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders
