Description

• As the Director of Data Logistics and Management, you will be responsible for all aspects of data exchange, organization, and storage for AffirmedRx. • This role requires a deep understanding of data pipeline creation, transformations, integration and organization, validation, governance, and security. • This individual will need exceptional technical and communication skills, leadership experience, deep expertise in healthcare data and related types, and prior experience with pharmacy claims, specifically. • Lead creation, evolution, and maintenance of secure data pipelines, including establishment of related policies and procedures documentation. • Lead data architecture, mapping, and integration strategy as part of data warehouse deployment, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance. • Develop and maintain strong data governance and secure transmission policies and procedures, based on industry best practices and standards. • Ensure a high level of data quality and validation are maintained so data can effectively support business processes. • Ensure seamless data integration between internal and external systems. • Lead deployment, use, and maintenance of technologies and tools required to support data exchange, encryption, hosting, translation and transformation, storage and retrieval. • Lead and mentor a team of data professionals, creating a culture of being proactive, curious, innovative, and always willing to help. • Work with teams across the organization to ensure data needs are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in data management, information technology, computer science, data science, or a related field required • 12+ years of experience in healthcare data operations and management, with at least 5 years of team leadership experience • 3+ years of experience in pharmacy or pharmacy benefit management (PBM) preferred • Deep proficiency in data pipeline establishment, data organization and integration, data exchange and storage security • Strong knowledge of and experience with ETL processes, database technologies (SQL, NoSQL), cloud and web-based data solutions • Demonstrated competency in data security principles and ensuring full compliance with relevant industry standards including HIPAA, SOC, HITRUST, and other relevant data protection regulations and industry best practices • Experience with data integration, API management, and data governance • Experience with cloud-based and on-prem data storage and compute technologies including AWS, Azure, and related • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
