Requirements
• JD from an accredited law school. • Admitted to and in good standing with the bar of at least one U.S. state or Canadian province/territory. • 5+ years of legal practice, ideally gained with a law firm, in-house, or at a legal service provider and 2+ years hands-on experience as a legal knowledge engineer or similar role • Extensive experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts. • Experience independently training and testing complex AI models at a high-volume. • Experience in prompt engineering, including drafting and fine-tuning effective LLM prompts to generate ideal responses. • Experience with contract management and/or legal operations is a plus. • Experience contributing meaningfully to cross-functional initiatives that require legal and technical skills. • Experience speaking publicly about work and disseminating for cross-team knowledge sharing. • Experience mentoring, training, and/or supervising junior associates or legal knowledge engineers. • Experience working with a distributed, multi-national team. • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational and time management skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to learn new technologies quickly. • High level of independence and self-accountability.
