📋 Description

• AllTrails is the most trusted and used outdoors platform in the world. • We help people explore the outdoors with hand-curated trail maps along with photos, reviews, and user recordings crowdsourced from our community of millions of registered hikers, mountain bikers, and trail runners in 150 countries. • AllTrails is frequently ranked as a top-5 Health and Fitness app and has been downloaded by over 75 million people worldwide. • Every day, we solve incredibly hard problems so that we can get more people outside having healthy, authentic experiences and a deeper appreciation of the outdoors. • This is a U.S.-based remote position. San Francisco Bay Area employees are highly encouraged to come into the office one day a week. • We are seeking an experienced Design Operations Lead to oversee and lead the planning, execution, and delivery of intuitive, beautiful experiences at AllTrails.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience in digital project management, ideally for companies creating consumer-facing products. • Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish, using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies and tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana. • Experience managing the entire product lifecycle, including planning, design, development, and launch. • Skilled in collaborating with teams across product management, design, engineering, research, marketing, and other functions. • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical teammates. • Experience leading teams, fostering collaboration, and ensuring efficient project execution. • Ability to identify potential risks early and develop strategies to mitigate delays or disruptions. • Comfortable using data and metrics to track progress, measure success, and guide project decisions. • Knowledge of web and app development processes, UX/UI principles, and the technology stack used in digital products. • Experience managing stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment, and setting clear expectations for everyone involved. • Humility, empathy and open-mindedness. • Passion for the outdoors.
