• Serve as a Company spokesperson • Demonstrate experience leading media relations strategies and outreach • Proactively uncover interesting stories and news angles • Collaborate with the Global Commercial Organization communications teams • Provide direction to PR agency partners as appropriate • Develop communications and media materials • Be prepared to travel to major conferences and events
🎯 Requirements
• Doctorate degree and 3 years of communications or public relations experience • Or Master’s degree and 5 years of communications or public relations experience • Or Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of communications or public relations experience • Or Associate’s degree and 12 years of communications or public relations experience • Or High school diploma / GED and 14 years of communications or public relations experience • 7-12 years of experience in communications, with majority of time focused on media relations • Experience speaking with media on a variety of subjects • Deep understanding of the biotechnology industry and communications environment • Experience navigating drug approvals, data milestones and regulatory decisions • Strong written, spoken and interpersonal communication skills with attention to detail
