Description

• Support Anthology’s global business operations, focusing on employment and compliance matters. • Provide guidance on day-to-day employment matters for various countries. • Draft and review legal documents including offer letters and employee handbooks. • Maintain a repository of global employment rules and compliance matters. • Evaluate emerging employment trends as a subject-matter expert. • Manage outside counsel concerning litigation and employment-related matters. • Support M&A initiatives relating to employment and compliance. • Conduct compliance risk assessments and assist with company audits.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in the U.S. • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a law firm and/or in-house with a focus on employment law • Experience with multi-national companies • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills with the ability to support a human resources team • Ability to provide legal advice clearly and confidently, have strong instincts, and the ability to quickly win confidence and trust • Ability to multitask with great attention to detail and a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines within a changing, fast-paced environment • Customer service focused attitude • Team player with the ability to work with all levels of the organization • Ability to foster good business relationships (internally and externally) • Fluency in written and spoken English
