Description

• The Azure Principal Solution Architect at Argano provides technical expertise and strategic guidance for Azure Solutions. • This role involves defining and implementing Azure architecture and data architecture best practices and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. • Responsibilities include evaluating existing systems and technologies, along with the development of solutions and blueprints to solve business challenges. • They play a critical role in guiding organization through technological landscape, ensuring cloud strategies align with business goals. • Collaborate with business leaders, developers, and IT staff to ensure data architecture supports organization needs. • Lead implementation and migration of applications, data, and infrastructure to Azure. • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams. • Ensure Azure solutions comply with security policies, governance measures, and regulatory requirements. • Stay current with Azure advancements and trends, continuously improving existing solutions. • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Azure architectures, processes, and procedures. • Provide training and mentorship on Azure best practices and new technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field expected. • Master’s degree or PhD in computer science or software engineering preferred. • 10-15 years of extensive experience in Azure data architecture and design. • Leadership experience in a data architecture role. • Strong understanding of data governance and quality. • Proven ability to drive innovation in data management and master data management. • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert • Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (preferred) • Extensive knowledge of Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Compute, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Security. • Experience in designing and implementing tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bicep and ARM templates. • Ability to ensure data quality and implement data quality frameworks. • Knowledge of data security best practices and experience implementing data security measures. • Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or others used for data manipulation and analysis. • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills. • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools. • Ability to provide technical guidance and set architectural standards. • Strategic thinking to align data architecture with business goals and objectives. • Expertise in advanced data modeling techniques and tools. • Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases. • Defining for current and future state System of Record including business rules and mastering processes for but not limited to product, party and/or any other domains.
