Description

• Responsible for all end customer sales functions within an assigned vertical & supporting channel. • Lead a team of Account Managers assigned to all named US K12 public school districts. • Execute a defined business plan to enable growth and development in US K12 public school districts. • Responsible for identifying and closing sales opportunities within K12 public school districts. • Works with all Distributors, Resellers, and ASUS supporting staff to drive sales volume and execution in the assigned vertical. • Proactively identifies market opportunities and secular trends aligned with ASUS state-of-business and product assortment. • Execute a business plan focused on driving unit & revenue growth with measurement against defined goals & targets. • Maintains contact with a very large customer & prospect base, providing routine communication about ASUS programs, offers, and promotions. • Travels throughout the US to conduct face-to-face business development, opportunity generation, team leadership, and cross-functional coordination inside ASUS US. • Frequent field-based engagement with named customers, partners, and prospects to increase ASUS business development, awareness, program execution, and growth.

Requirements

• 10+ years of prior Sales experience in IT Hardware, Software, or Services. • 3+ years of prior Sales Management experience. • Proven track record of growth & development against defined targets. • High understanding of US education vertical. • Strong Presentation and communication skills. • Ability to articulate the ASUS value proposition. • Prior experience presenting business reviews in internal & external executive leadership scenarios. • Expert knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, IT Hardware buying patterns and public sector protocols. • Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships in cross-functional organizations. • Exceptional time management, prioritization, attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills. • Ability to work in a self-directed & remote capacity. • Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel. • Prior business plan development & execution (preferred). • Demonstrated quota achievement (preferred). • Strong knowledge of Public Sector & K12 education markets (preferred). • Technical proficiency in Computer Hardware & IT environments (preferred). • Proven ability to sell in a complex and dynamic situations (preferred).
