• Avantor is looking for a dedicated and high energy sales representative. • Maintain and advance our local Laboratory and mining Sales efforts. • Consultatively sell Avantor's large portfolio of products and services. • Successfully manage a territory consisting of diverse customers across various markets. • Expand Avantor's role with existing customers by developing retention strategies. • Sell consultatively, detailing products, determine customer needs and make recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree within sciences or equivalent, or applicable experience required. • 3-5 years of experience working in a complex, dynamic sales environment. • Business-to-business sales experience preferred. • Excellent people skills in communicating and collaborating with customers. • Ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers. • Ability to work independently and successfully manage time and territory. • Excellent analytical skills and ability to sell strategically within an account. • Holder of a valid Driver's License in good standing. • Willingness to travel to customer locations minimum 3-4 days a week.
