Description

β€’ Responsible for leading contract development in support of national and regional payer accounts β€’ Administer contractual rebates, fees and other programs ensuring compliance with contractual terms β€’ Serve as a resource for sales and marketing departments to communicate contracting, pricing and customer information β€’ Lead contract effectiveness efforts, related analyses and proposed strategy modifications β€’ Support broader Averitas portfolio β€’ Manage the contract development, execution and maintenance of various contracts β€’ Ensure compliance with federal and state contracts and reporting requirements β€’ Analyze customer performance against defined contract metrics

Requirements

β€’ Minimum 10 years’ experience in the healthcare industry β€’ Minimum 5 years’ experience in contract administration or operations, data analysis and interpretation; prior managed care experience preferred β€’ Strong background in contract negotiations with payers, providers, specialty pharmacies, and/or distributors β€’ Proven experience with government pricing programs (e.g. Medicaid, Medicare, 340B, VA/DoD) and commercial contracts β€’ Knowledge of US pricing and reimbursement structures required β€’ Detailed knowledge of health plan and PBM decision-making processes β€’ Demonstrated understanding of health economics β€’ Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of management as well as field sales, marketing, medical affairs, regulatory and vendor partners β€’ Ability to maintain an independent and objective perspective while developing and maintaining a strong partnership with client organizations β€’ Ability to work with and deliver on deadlines while managing multiple projects and priorities with limited supervision β€’ Intrinsic drive and motivation to achieve success
