📋 Description

• Contribute to client capacities and strategic activities related to community/city development. • Pursue and lead client engagements. • Assist Development and Community Advisory team leaders in advancing subject matter expertise activities. • Lead internal and external project teams to advance project opportunities. • Contribute in client engagement staffing, billings/collections. • Lead in development and implementation of techniques and best practices in subject matter expertise. • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external industry leaders. • Continue to develop knowledge and experience working with various technology environments. • Attend professional development, networking events, and training seminars regularly. • Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.

🎯 Requirements

• Knowledge of principles and procedures of real estate, housing, city planning and redevelopment. • Fifteen (15) years of progressively responsible related experience. • Experience as a client serving professional for consulting firm desired. • Thorough knowledge of modern principles, procedures and practices of real estate development, urban planning, land use and zoning. • General knowledge of role and history of real estate, housing, planning and city development in racial inequality. • General knowledge of real estate market, finance fundamentals, and financial tools used in development and redevelopment. • Graduate degree in urban planning, public policy, real estate or a related field. • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and persuasively to build strong internal and external working relationships. • Growth mindset with strong interpersonal skills. • Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail. • Exceptional verbal, presentation, and written communication skills. • Ability to multi-task, work well independently in a fast-paced environment. • Motivation to work extended hours and travel as needed.
