Description

• Manage existing products by being responsible for the profit & loss of multiple products and books of businesses. • Contribute to the development of new products with profit and loss accountability for ongoing operations. • Analyze competitor offerings against MSI’s current offerings and partner and/or market needs to make recommendations. • Use Project Management techniques to drive implementation of new products and enhancements across functional areas within the company. • Provide recommendations to Executives in formulating product strategy and tactical execution.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience ideally in working with Homeowners Insurance, Product Management, Contract/Coverage creation and Product delivery. • A bachelor’s degree and insurance product and contract knowledge is required, graduate degree preferred. • Some Experience with PowerBI, SAS, R, SQL, Python is preferred, intermediate to advanced skills in Excel is required; Ability to create PowerPoint presentations. • A self-starter who can identify business opportunities, develop a product plan to capitalize on those opportunities, and successfully implement the plan. • The ability to identify and define business problems and issues, and develop strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct analyses. • Analyze product performance, identify additional areas of research, and recommend improvements. • The ability to communicate effectively and succinctly, both verbally and on paper, and at all levels of an organization. • The candidate will need to work well both as part of a team and as a team leader.
