Description

• Responsible for the procurement and acquisition of goods and services that deliver short-term procurement value and work to enhance processes and drive efficiency. • Consult and advise business units or functions on the acquisition of goods and services of basic to moderate complexity across one or multiple categories. • Ensure the Practice has an uninterrupted supply of goods, services and equipment at the lowest overall demonstrated cost.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain & Logistics, Business Administration, Finance/Accounting or other business field is preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. • 5 years of experience required relevant professional experience with understanding of the purchasing cycle & buying process required. • A knowledge of purchasing regulations, legal compliance, policies and procedures is required with demonstrated advanced negotiations, contract and sourcing skills is preferred. • Health care background (veterinary or human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) is preferred.
