Description

• Part of Mars Veterinary Health, a team promoting high-quality veterinary care. • Supports Category Managers in sourcing goods and services for uninterrupted supply. • Manages supplier relationships and leads contractual processes. • Develops and communicates sourcing strategies effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree. • 4-years of experience in purchasing cycles and buying processes. • Knowledge of purchasing regulations, legal compliance, policies and procedures with demonstrated advanced negotiations, contract and sourcing skills. • Background and experience in at least one or more of the following sourcing categories: IT, Facilities, Legal, Marketing, Corporate Affairs, HR and/or Consultants. • Preferred: Strong understanding of the veterinary health market, including products, services and customer needs. • Preferred: Ability to understand and interpret key financial statements and components of ROTA. • Preferred: Understanding of and ability to conduct SWOT, TOWS Matrix, and/or Porter’s Five Forces Model.
