•The Vice President of Non-Profit/Advocacy plays a pivotal role in our leadership team, embodying comprehensive, 360-degree leadership with an entrepreneurial mindset tailored for the nonprofit and advocacy sectors. •This position requires an innovative individual who connects their personal success directly to the success of their initiatives, holding themselves accountable for outcomes. •In this dynamic role, the majority of your time will be split between team leadership and business development. •You'll oversee daily operations of our Non-Profit/Advocacy team, providing support, coaching and training. •Collaborating closely with the COO, CEO and senior leadership, you'll help set and achieve strategic company goals. •You'll also manage all financial aspects of your business unit, including preparing reports and handling budgets and financial plans. •On the business development side, you'll seek out new opportunities, implement growth strategies and leverage your industry expertise and network to drive the company forward. •Once new business is secured, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional client services to maintain high levels of client satisfaction and retention. •This role offers a unique blend of leadership and growth opportunities, perfect for a driven and ambitious professional.

Requirements

•8+ years of experience in the nonprofit or advocacy sector at a senior level; 5+ years of experience managing a department/firm/campaign budget exceeding $2 million. •Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment, delegate tasks and oversee multiple projects simultaneously. •Proven experience in managing and achieving revenue targets for a business unit, with a strong track record in sales and growth strategies. •Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial performance. •Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. •Ability to analyze data and feedback to measure the effectiveness of strategies and adjust tactics accordingly. •Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships, negotiating and the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. •Impeccable judgment and ability to thrive and make sound decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic setting while adapting to changing business needs. •Proficient presentation skills and ability to handle high-level client interactions. •Strong understanding of operational processes, systems, and technologies. •Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
