Description

• Collaborate with leaders and engineering teams to transform user requirements into actionable system designs. • Fine-tuning requirements, developing detailed design specifications, and proposing innovative solutions. • Keep the team informed of technological developments and create system models that align with business goals. • Create and Support Business Cases, contribute to product/program business cases. • Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to document roadmaps, sprint goals, and user stories. • Manage Backlog and Sprint Execution with Product Owner. • Analyze and Document Requirements for clarity and alignment with project goals. • Coordinate with Vendors to oversee deliveries, maintaining effective vendor relationships. • Address Technical and Infrastructure Needs with IT experts. • Oversee Testing and Debugging, guide the refinement of technical solutions. • Manage Application Installations and Upgrades, leading installations and configurations. • Support Roadmap Prioritization with business units to document and prioritize objectives. • Lead Impact Analysis and oversee Product Lifecycle Management. • Ensure Communication and Issue Resolution between end-users and IT departments. • Manage Cybersecurity Practices in program portfolios. • Document Technical Changes and Facilitate Technical Reviews and Demos. • Optimize Systems based on business needs and ensure ongoing optimization. • Develop Requirements and Architecture, lead the creation of documentation. • Mentor Team Members and adapt to perform additional duties as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related discipline or equivalent experience. • Minimum of 5 years of experience with business software applications. • Understanding of Cloud Computing theory and practice. • Proficiency with multiple change methodologies (Agile, Lean, TDD, Waterfall). • Experience supporting and delivering the full system development lifecycle (SDLC). • Proficiency with SQL and relational database concepts. • Ability to manage solutions across different programming languages and environments. • Understanding of software engineering terms and data architecture. • Experience using tools like Azure DevOps and JIRA. • Advanced degree in a related field (desired). • Experience with tools like Splunk and AppDynamics (desired). • Ability to plan, organize, and implement projects in line with BECU and industry standards (desired).
