Description

• Partner with national and regional patient advocacy groups and medical societies. • Build strategic plans for relationships and collaborations. • Represent the company with industry associations and advocacy groups. • Attend trade and professional meetings critical to the company’s success. • Develop and oversee strategic plans for assigned patient advocacy and medical societies. • Manage relationships and execute patient advocacy strategies. • Oversee patient advocacy events and forums, engaging UT employees. • Monitor competitive activity and industry trends to inform strategy. • Demonstrate clinically accurate product and disease state knowledge. • Manage budgets and forecasting for patient advocacy activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree AND 8 years of experience in advocacy or similar roles OR a Master’s Degree AND 6 years of experience in advocacy or similar roles. • Ability to establish a presence in a patient advocacy environment and effectively connect and communicate with internal and external stakeholders. • Strong ethical grounding with a focus on transparency and patient welfare. • Effectively manage projects and responsibilities assigned, including ad-hoc requests. • Demonstrate exceptional soft skills, including empathy and thoughtfulness. • Experience working with diverse internal and external stakeholders. • Competence with Microsoft suite of products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams.
