Description

• Build and maintain post-sales relationships with complex customers. • Serve as a trusted technical advisor for successful Postgres implementations. • Focus on adopting and expanding Postgres use within customer organizations. • Provide technical leadership for major Postgres initiatives. • Coordinate interactions between internal EDB teams and customers. • Maintain current knowledge of EDB product line. • Help document best practices for deploying EDB solutions. • Manage customer escalations and coordinate support for faster resolution. • Travel required up to 25% of the time.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • At least five years of hands-on experience with Postgres, Oracle, DB2 or MS SQL Server. • Technical skills in data management platforms, operating systems, cloud technologies, and technical architecture. • Excellent analytical skills for technical and project management issues. • Understanding of strategic sales processes. • Well-developed organizational skills. • Bachelors / Masters degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent. • Expected to complete EDB Postgres Professional Certification within 6 months.
