Description

β€’ Build and maintain post-sales relationships with complex customers. β€’ Serve as a trusted technical advisor for successful Postgres implementations. β€’ Focus on adopting and expanding Postgres use within customer organizations. β€’ Provide technical leadership for major Postgres initiatives. β€’ Coordinate interactions between internal EDB teams and customers. β€’ Maintain current knowledge of EDB product line. β€’ Help document best practices for deploying EDB solutions. β€’ Manage customer escalations and coordinate support for faster resolution. β€’ Travel required up to 25% of the time.

Requirements

β€’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. β€’ At least five years of hands-on experience with Postgres, Oracle, DB2 or MS SQL Server. β€’ Technical skills in data management platforms, operating systems, cloud technologies, and technical architecture. β€’ Excellent analytical skills for technical and project management issues. β€’ Understanding of strategic sales processes. β€’ Well-developed organizational skills. β€’ Bachelors / Masters degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent. β€’ Expected to complete EDB Postgres Professional Certification within 6 months.
