• Business Wire, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is the global market leader in press release distribution and regulatory disclosure. • Organizations, large and small, depend on us to accurately publicize market-moving news and multimedia, and generate social engagements that develop interactions with their target audiences. • As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be the first point of contact for new Business Wire clients with in our ABU (Agency Business), and a key liaison between the sales team, newsroom and customers for our agency business. • Your focus is on nurturing, maintaining, and cultivating client relationships and success from existing and newly created transactional/contract accounts. • Your responsibilities also include managing outbound prospecting of marketing qualified leads (MQLs) generated from marketing campaigns.

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships with clients across an organizational hierarchy, including executive/C-level. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills. • Proficient in verbal communication and written communication in both English and French languages • Exceptional time management skills displaying the ability to manage multiple tasks with strict attention to detail. • Resilience, perseverance, and the ability to overcome objections a must. • Self-disciplined, organized and ambitious with the ability to consistently hit daily and monthly objectives. • Understanding and ability to communicate at a high level with professionals in investor relations, financial reporting, public relations, marketing, and corporate communications preferred. • BA/BSc degree, or international equivalent, preferred. • 1 year of sales experience preferred. • Proficiency with Salesforce.com and HubSpot preferred and business applications including Microsoft Office.
