Description

• Responsible for pre-sales technical engagements with customers. • Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrate product capabilities. • Design comprehensive network solutions to meet customer requirements. • Assist in preparation of RFP’s and customer inquiries. • Provide leadership and guide customers on technical and operational issues. • Mentor and guide Calix colleagues and partners. • Research and stay up to date on industry standards and trends.

Requirements

• BSEE/BSCS desired. • Strong technical familiarity with Layer 2 and Layer 3 Access network architectures. • Understanding of SaaS and SDN based technologies. • Familiarity with fiber and copper-based Access systems. • Experience with WAN services, PON, and Ethernet based architectures. • Knowledge of various routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS) and transport functions (L2/3 VPN). • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to L2/L3 deployment architectures and methodologies. • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams.
