β’ Lead psychosocial oncology research projects from conceptualization to dissemination. β’ Plan and execute research initiatives to understand and support the cancer patient experience. β’ Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders on research projects. β’ Develop persuasive and scientifically sound grant proposals. β’ Manage client relationships and coordinate with technical teams on various projects.
β’ A doctoral degree in social and behavioral sciences, psychology, health economics, social work, public health, or related field. β’ A minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience and interest in behavioral research relevant to cancer and chronic illness. β’ Related mixed-methods research experience in psychosocial outcomes and/or interventions with chronic illness/cancer. β’ Expertise with SPSS (for quantitative analysis) and Nvivo (for qualitative analysis) required. β’ Ability to lead/support multiple research projects simultaneously.
