β’ Works with users and leadership to develop and/or modify procedures related to Epic applications. β’ Effectively explains the functioning of the assigned Epic applications and assists users with full functionality. β’ Prepares input for requirements definition including user procedures and preliminary report definition. β’ Assists in the development of unit, integration, system, and end-user acceptance testing. β’ Completes all change and quality control documentation using department standards. β’ Participates in testing, user training and results evaluation. β’ Tracks standardized projects for the Epic application areas. β’ Monitors and documents post-implementation problems and revision requests. β’ Maintains product documentation including requirements and trouble-shooting guidelines. β’ Assists in communicating project status and upgrades to clinic users.
β’ Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Computer Science or related field β’ Typically requires 1 year of experience in automated laboratory and/or business systems. β’ Team members will obtain EPIC certification(s) within 6 months. β’ Basic knowledge of computer operating platforms, applications software, and network software. β’ Demonstrated analytical skills necessary to make sound recommendations based on data analysis β’ Demonstrated ability to translate user requirements into system specifications. β’ Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access) or similar products β’ Ability to prepare, import, and manipulate information in spreadsheets and databases. β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate with key leaders. β’ Ability to handle multiple tasks, set appropriate priorities and accomplish assignments in a thorough and timely manner.
