• This leader will be accountable for the search and evaluation of new partnering opportunities with pharmaceutical, biotechnology and other external partners • Leading the most promising opportunities through contract and deal execution • Act as a thought partner to BBD leadership and contribute to the BioPharma strategy • Cultivate and leverage relationships across the industry to drive value for the business
• A minimum of 12+ years professional work experience, with at least 8 years in Biopharma business development roles or as a S&E Lead at a biopharmaceutical company • Proven business development track record leading diligences, and complex organization-wide efforts to deliver partnerships with Biopharma • Extensive knowledge of the research and development business processes within pharma with clarity about prioritized targets, call points, internal decision-maker constituents, and related insights • A deep understanding of oncology products, companion diagnostics, next generation sequencing, therapeutic assets, real-world data and/or clinical trial enrollment related products/services • Experience in molecular biology, with knowledge of drug discovery and development processes, diagnostics and platforms preferred • Expertise across biopharma value chain with a strong understanding of the drug development continuum including early research, development, medical and commercialization
