Description

•Cypress Creek Renewables seeks a motivated individual for policy and permitting in New York and New England. •Help accelerate infrastructure development by driving new legislative and regulatory policies. •Build relationships with stakeholders and support community efforts.

Requirements

•BA/BS degree required; Advanced degree a plus •5+ years of experience in energy policy •5+ years of state regulatory and/or legislative experience with a clear track record of success executing on policy campaigns •Experience managing and working collaboratively with lobbyists, trade associations, other businesses, and consultants •Proven ability to build and maintain productive external partnerships, including ones with trade associations, other companies, and lawmakers •Direct experience in project development, a utility, and/or government is a plus •Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills •Excellent research and analytical skills, and the ability to synthesize and effectively communicate the results into conclusions and recommendations •Self-motivated and driven with a high level of initiative •Organized, detail-oriented, and diligent •Able to thrive in a fast-paced business environment, and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines •Approximately 30% travel
