• At Comet, our mission is to help every organization drive business value from AI. • Comet is looking for a Senior Enterprise Account Executive (Fully Remote in the US) who will be responsible for prospecting and closing new business across North America. • You will identify, nurture and close opportunities with both new and existing customers, manage forecasts and track customer data. • You will be the driver with our prospective clients during the sales and customer expansion processes. • You are comfortable engaging in both technical and business conversations at multiple levels of the organization, including CTO, VP of AI, Managers of AI, as well as machine learning practitioners. • You enjoy bringing your product and technical knowledge to bear when articulating our business proposition, and your analytical nature means you bias towards winning business by showing how a client’s business model benefits from partnering with Comet. • Your expertise will be critical in helping articulate the value of our products, working with the customer during the trial phase and handing off a strong relationship to our Customer Success team.

Requirements

• Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment • 4+ experience in selling Enterprise focused technical solutions to technical buyers/users, preferably at a company selling to people directly involved in the ML/AI development process. • Prior experience selling to data science teams • 5+ years closing annual contracts of at least $100K/year, and handling yearly quotas of $1mm+ • Strong technical background, ideally as a sales engineer or some technical educational program • Ability to understand Comet and build great relationships with highly technical customers • Prior experience at a fast-paced startup and able to work well in unstructured environments • Proven negotiation and closing skills • Nice to have: a technical background or formal data science training
