β€’ Company Overview: COVU is an InsurTech company redefining the insurance advisory landscape. β€’ Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive with a strong background in the insurance industry. β€’ The primary responsibilities include executing sales activities, building lasting relationships with clients, supporting strategic partnerships, and collaborating with the Head of Growth and executives to optimize sales processes. β€’ Key Responsibilities: Drive sales activities and take ownership of opportunities with small to mid-size agencies, aiming for a conversion rate of around 15% - 20%. β€’ Support COVU's executives in closing high-level and strategic partnerships that can deliver substantial profits and margins. β€’ Work with the Head of Growth and executive team to refine and optimize sales processes with learnings from sales calls and prior knowledge. β€’ Efficiently use Salesforce and other sales tools to manage leads, opportunities, and client interactions. β€’ Attend in-person conferences and industry events as needed, acting as a COVU representative to promote our services and solutions. β€’ Coordinate with internal teams to ensure partner satisfaction and successful solution delivery during and post onboarding.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Experience: Proven closing skills within the medium-sized B2B segment. β€’ High volume and high conversion rates over several years within the insurance industry are a must. β€’ Technical Skills: Have the discipline and knowledge of working with CRMs and other sales tools to keep the pipeline updated with the latest information and log all activities as necessary. β€’ Industry Background: Strong background in insurance; being a former carrier territory representative or having experience selling solutions or technology to insurance agencies is highly preferred. β€’ Network: An existing network of insurance agencies that COVU can potentially market to is a significant bonus. β€’ Problem-Solving and Core Intelligence: Ability to ask insightful questions to understand clients' objections and core pain points, and to overcome them effectively and genuinely. β€’ Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. β€’ Interpersonal Skills: Strong presentation and relationship-building abilities.
