β’ Minimum: A bachelorβs degree and 6+ years of progressive experience implementing information technology solutions, or 10+ years of experience in lieu of a degree. β’ 3+ years of experience in pre-sales support. β’ Proven experience in a sales engineering or technical pre-sales role, preferably within security and compliance sectors. β’ Solid technical discovery skills and a strong business acumen. β’ Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders. β’ A strong understanding of security frameworks, regulations (such as GDPR, HIPAA and PCI-DSS) and best practices. β’ Proficient in security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM, identity and access management and data encryption. β’ Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools and sales methodologies. β’ At least three relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM and Security+.
